Making his mark as a Technologist at O'Reilly Media and a nerd blogger for Make Magazine, Peter celebrates hacking, tweaking and bending technology. Later on he went on to co-found Ignite Toronto, a wildly popular festival of geek culture.

More recently he can be found connecting the planet with Project Noah, which began as an app for people to share their nature sightings but has evolved into a scientific and culturally relevant tool for both the masses and experts. It's been featured on CNN, New York Times, Slate and is officially partnered with National Geographic.

With a background in design research and digital strategy, he's worked as a usability consultant and is now an information architect at Teehan+Lax.

Currently he's a member of the Council of the Internet of Things, a hub for policy debate, practice and implementation of and on the Internet of Things.

He attended the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University.
